Manufacturing capabilities:

Work envelope from 18 cubic inches to microscopic proportions and tolerances within .0001. Complete manufacturing from CNC machining, grinding, soldering, brazing, part marking, precision deburring and polishing, and all types of assembly.

Capable of handling jobs:

Starting with any type of material, casting and hardware purchases, thru-machining, heat treatments, surface treatments.  Painting and special packaging; including certification of material and outside processes.

Quality system:

We conform to ISO 9002, are certified to MIL-I-45208a and dedicated to a continuous process improvement environment.  Documentation for each job includes first PC., in-process and final inspection, along with a job traveler. Job folders contain all certifications and documentation for each individual purchase order.
Tusk Mfg. is audited annually by both Lockheed Martin and General Dynamics for compliance to ISO 9002, MIL-I-45208a and a continuous process improvement policy.

Statistical process control:

All equipment and individual operations are monitored for variation at set intervals by "control charts". These "X" bar and range charts are down-loaded to our computer network; which in return calculates control limits, histograms, CPK and CP ratings for individual parts, equipment, and overall shop performance.
